A burning light pierced the sky and crashed onto the Nalgahlla lands.
King Morgan, a monarch in a wheelchair who has outlawed ancient magic, dispatches scout brigades to investigate the impact zone. Blacksausage Gustav Joe is already a step ahead, his black boar division departs from Pendulum, the industrialized capital of the Bacon Commonwealth, aboard war airships.
The situation spirals into a high-stakes chase when an infamous gang of criminals, the Discordians, comes into play: Madeleine, a sharp-nosed witch who follows the scent of coin; Belardo, a wayward mercenary and Zostomotius, a nonchalant dragon with a weakness for fries. They take the job expecting easy profit. What they find instead will pull them into a chaos they never signed up for.
Chronicle of an Atheist God is a humorous fantasy novel with steampunk elements and meta-fictional undertones that mocks D&D clichés, blending cinematic action, political intrigue and comedy with breaking the 4th wall.
Meet The Author
Gian Paolo Bonsignore (Caracas, Venezuela, 1993), is a meta-textual fantasy writer in which he implements steampunk and clockpunk elements to enhance, or corrupt, the world where the main plot takes place.
He calls himself a “method writer,” since to write about these science fiction/fantasy topics he worked in factories under precarious conditions and lived through violent protests against his country’s government during the years 2016-2019.
Computer Science student at Alejandro von Humboldt University in Caracas. Passionate about writing, calisthenics enthusiast, devoted admirer of old-school fantasy novels and narrative design. He wrote “Angelomaquia” for the short tales collection book Madrigueras. Holds a diploma in Creative Writing from Universidad Metropolitana.
